About us
Vision
We envision a world where businesses thrive and contribute to building a regenerative future, leading the global transformation toward sustainability and equity.
Mission
About the Planet was born to drive systemic change by transforming corporate mindsets, strategies, and operations toward true sustainability.
Commitment
We do this by equipping leaders with the tools, knowledge, and sense of urgency needed to adopt sustainable practices that protect economies, societies, and the planet.
"Sustainability is not about sacrifice, it’s about alignment — living well in harmony with the planet’s limits and each other."
- Donella Meadows (1994). Envisioning a Sustainable World
The Challenge
- Many find it difficult to define it and, therefore, struggle to align with the requirements of all stakeholders.
- Data is hard to access, trust, and compare, and is often siloed and imprecise.
- Impacts are almost impossible to quantify accurately, and many organisations mistake quantification with criterion.
- Even for the most successful sustainability advocates, mapping, assessing, and communicating their efforts can be challenging.
Our Services
Reporting
We help organisations use reporting standards as a tool to discover new opportunities and innovate.
Strategy
From vision to goals, indicators, and actions, we support organisations to integrate ESG into their operations.
The values we practice
INTEGRITY
We act with integrity. We aim to be true to ourselves first, then to our customers and the world. We strive to maintain it in difficult times, and we require it from the people we work with.
CLARITY
We pursue clarity in all we do because it helps create the conditions for creativity and leads to sustainable innovation. We achieve clarity through effort, not oversimplifying slogans.
GRIT
We may lose a battle, but we never surrender. Grit is, after all, one of the strongest predictors of success. We define grit at the intersection of passion, competence, and tenacity.
PURPOSE
Purpose is what drives execution. It is built and maintained over time, not found. We make sure that our purpose is crystal clear and shared across our organisation and beyond.
Drop us a line and tell us your story
We are always open to collaborating to promoting sustainable development.

Committing to changing education
We drive projects aimed at rethinking education, promoting passion, competence, exploration, and integrating informal learning into formal settings. We help institutions move beyond the traditional behaviouristic approach and embrace self-organisation, autonomy, and structured creativity.

Improving data gathering and reporting
The maritime industry is complex and increasingly dependent on high-quality data from a diverse range of providers, resellers, and users. We partnered with Navidium to help ship owners and managers break down data silos and fully leverage data insights to boost asset performance and ensure compliance with IMO regulations.
